"Hoffs-Drawlar" is an orchestral piece on the Season 4 soundtrack. It plays during the season's final scene, as well as several other cliffhanger ending scenes.

Main appearance

Jack arrives at the Hoffs-Drawlar Funeral Parlor. He breaks in and opens the coffin on display, then he turns around when he hears a voice. It's Ben.

They talk. Ben tells him that if he wants to return to the island, he has to bring everyone who left - including the dead body in the room with them. We see the body. It's John Locke.

Influences

Aside from its own motif, the piece uses the waking motif, Jack's motif, Ben's theme, and the mystery theme.

Title significance

"Hoffs-Drawlar" is the name of the funeral parlor where John Locke's body is kept. It is an anagram of the word "flash-forward."
