When I am signing talk pages and such, my signature often goes haywire and splits into several lines. Is this a fault of mine or of the code? Often, when it does this, it appears that it should be able to fit into one line, instead of breaking up. Help? Anyone? It's annoying for me, I'm sure it is for others as well. Custom signatures used globally for all wikis Edit

One thing I just discovered is that custom signatures are used globally on all wikis run by Wikia Entertainment. Therefore, it may actually be better to use the autosig page as a sandbox so you can preview your signature and adjust it to your liking. Then, do not save the page, but instead copy your new signature into the "Signature" field of your Preferences.

If you choose to have a autosig page and use the Substitution method described on the Help page, that means you will need to create that same autosig page on every wiki you edit on. — RRabbit42 (leave a message) 20:16, January 18, 2010 (UTC)
