  • The Hanso Group is Alvar Hanso's corporate arm, with the Hanso Foundation serving his "philanthropic" purposes.
  • The Hanso Group is just another name for subsidiaries under the Hanso umbrella, which may include companies like Paik Heavy Industries and Widmore Corporation.
  • Hanso Group is mentioned on the Blast Door Map as D.I.H.G.: DHARMA Initiative - Hanso Group.
  • The Hanso Group is a splinter company/faction of the Hanso Foundation that remains loyal to and/or under the control of Alvar Hanso, as opposed to the now Mittlewerk controlled Hanso Foundation. One of the on-island factions, i.e. the Others or the Dharma Initiative members such as Kelvin or Radzinsky, are/were affiliated with the D.I.H.G. and in conflict with the other faction which remains loyal to the Hanso Foundation, this may have led to the Purge.
