Greta was a member of the Others, assigned to the Looking Glass station in secret, with the rest of the Others believing that she and Bonnie were on assignment in Canada.
On the Island
Days 90–91 (Season 3)
Along with Bonnie she tied Charlie up when he first arrived in The Looking Glass Station in "Greatest Hits." While interrogating Charlie, Greta seemed less aggressive than her partner Bonnie. When Mikhail arrived at the station, it was revealed that Greta and Bonnie were stationed there to make sure that any transmissions leaving the island were jammed. ("Through the Looking Glass")
Following orders by Ben, who didn't want to risk Greta or Bonnie ever revealing their mission along with what they had learned from Charlie, Mikhail killed them both. Greta was shot first with her body landing in the moon-pool but it was later recovered by Charlie or Desmond and placed on the floor and covered with a blanket ("Through the Looking Glass").

- Greta is the diminutive form of Margaret, a name which means 'pearl.'
- A pearl is a gemstone usually found in the sea. Greta was on assignment at a location under the sea.
