Derek Hoeft played the background extra role of Drive Shaft drummer in Season 3 episode "Greatest Hits".[source needed] Hoeft is a Oahu-based musician who performs as a vocalist and guitarist under the name Derek 86 in the punk rock band The 86 List, along with Drive Shaft cast member Joshua Hanckock. He has also been a member of the Hawaiian bands S-1 Atomic and Dolls Till Daylight.
