Theories

Eric was a construction worker of the DHARMA Initiative. He may have been killed along with other members of the DHARMA Initiative in the Purge, or he may have left the island sometime between 1977 and The Purge.

1977Edit

Eric was first appeared at the Barracks, and settling a bicycle in the background, when Juliet was talking with Amy about babies on the day that the new recruits came to The Island. ("Namaste")

Later that day, he was seen in the Processing Center, and standing at the entrance, right behind Kate. Later, he was seen sitting at the table, and helping a new recruits. ("Namaste")

A couple of days later, he was seen wearing an Orchid construction helmet, and interrupted the filming of an orientation film for the Arrow to tell Dr. Pierre Chang about a problem at the construction site for the Orchid. He transported Dr. Chang in a DHARMA van to the Orchid greenhouse while it was being built and went underground to take Dr. Chang to a superior of his and to continue his work. ("Because You Left")  ("The Variable")

Eric was staring at Jack and Sayid

Before the 1977 Barracks battle happened, Eric was seen walking in front of Jack and Sayid, and he stared at them. It's possible that he survived the battle, and may have been killed in the Purge. ("The Incident, Part 1")

TriviaEdit

• This character is officially credited as anxious guy in the ABC Medianet press release.
• In "The Incident, Part 1", Eric was possibly portrayed by an extra, but the extra's hair style and face also look like Brad Berryhill, who portrayed Eric in previous episodes.
  • The same extra also appeared in "Namaste", and wore the grey jumpsuit. Since Eric wore the grey jumpsuit, it can be assumed that he was portraying Eric, even though his jumpsuit had no name and job title on it.
