Theories may be removed if ...
  1. Stated as questions or possibilities (avoid question marks, "Maybe", "I think", etc).
  2. More appropriate for another article.
  3. Illogical or previously disproven.
  4. Proven by canon source, and moved to main article.
  5. Speculative and lacking any evidence to support arguments.
  6. Responding to another theory (use discussion page instead).
  • This does not include responses that can stand alone as its own theory.
  • Usage of an indented bullet does not imply the statement is a response.

See the Lostpedia theory policy for more details.

  • Emily has spent time on the Island after meeting Richard Alpert (either before or after John's birth). According to a continuity error she gave birth to Locke at the age of 6. This may not be a blooper, if had spent time on the Island she would have grown up quicker as Walt did.
    • There's no continuity error. If she was born in 1940 and she gives birth to John at sixteen, in 1956, then John would be 48 when the plane crashes.
      • It's possible, though not likely (?), that his age is a conscious connection to the original number of survivors from the plane, as well as the Numbers.
    • Her experiences on the Island could have led to her panic disorder which put her in the mental home; her aunt Bea Jones could actually be a pseudonym for be Bea Klugh. (Making Bea Locke's great aunt.)
    • Bea would have to be an adoptive or married-in aunt, given their different races.
  • Emily is Annie.
    • If she is Annie that means Ben could be his father (providing that Cooper only told Locke that he was his father as part of the con) although Ben looks way too young for that.
      • Unlikely, even if Ben is ageless (being younger than Locke). It appears that Ben loses contact with Annie after the Purge or before, and there is no indication that they had a sexual relationship.
