Efren Salonga is the doctor who delivered Charlie Hume, son of Desmond and Penny. He was found by Desmond, quite engaged in the middle of a card game gambling session on an island in the Philippines, and was taken to Penny and Desmond's sailboat to an in-labor Penelope Widmore. Using only forceps, Salonga delivered Charlie Hume. ("Jughead")
