In Something Nice Back Home Dr. Stillman tells Jack that Hurley's therapy has been rendered useless, since Hurley doesn't believe that Dr. Stillman exists. Given Hurley's history with Dave, this could be attributed to the fact that Dr. Stillman bears considerable resemblance to Dr. Brooks and Hurley could see Dr. Stillman as his subconscious' attempt to replace the "real" therapist with a fantasy version.
