Dr. Bae is the doctor at Choogdong Hospital who assisted Sun in the birthing of her daughter, Ji Yeon Kwon. While he wanted to perform a C-section, Sun refused so that the baby could be born in front of Jin. The baby was born naturally, and Dr. Bae handed her to Sun. ("Ji Yeon")
