This unnamed Doctor told Sabrina and Shannon upon their arrival at the hospital that Adam Rutherford was dead. He explained that Adam "stopped breathing at the site of the accident" and that they "were unable to resuscitate him." When he first met the pair, Jack walked past the doctor in the background.
