Detective Mason, portrayed by Marlene Forte, is a law enforcement agent introduced in "The Man from Tallahassee". She investigated the murder of Peter Talbot with Detective Reed. Later, the pair questioned Locke about Anthony Cooper, whom they claim has fled to Mexico.
