Craig was present at the Barracks on the night Ben set a DHARMA bus aflame and crashed it into a nearby house. When he came outside to investigate, he was told by Jim LaFleur to grab a wrench, open the water valves, and get the hoses going in order to extinguish both the fire and the bus. Craig then ran off to do so. ("He's Our You")
After the fire had been put out, Craig stayed nearby with other members of DHARMA as Horace Goodspeed gave them instructions on what to do next. ("Whatever Happened, Happened")
