Christian Shephard left his daughter Claire an inlaid music box in his will. ("The Candidate")

The lawyer told Claire that her father especially wanted her to have the music box. When Claire asked her half brother about this, Jack revealed that he didn't know the meaning of the bequest. They opened the music box and "Catch a Falling Star" played as their faces reflected in the mirror inside the lid.
