How is this different from List of Recurring Themes? --Señor Eko 20:24, 22 August 2006 (PDT)
- Well, firstly, there's the same basic and very important difference as between any category and list even when they are about a same topic. A category is not an article, but it essentially groups the links to the names of existing articles that have been categorized as having to do with the topic of that category. Nothing less, nothing more. On the other hand, a list is an article which, well, lists items having to do with the topic of the list, irrespective of the fact that there is an article that exists or not on any particular item. For example, a list may list 100 items of which only three or four items may be worthy of their own article, although the list of all items is a valuable information in itself. Secondly, even if an article is named "list" (of something), it's not necessarily only a mere list of names. Like in the case of "List of recurring themes", such an article may contain additional information, although in a more succint style than an in-depth article. It may be more like a "root article", giving summarized information on a vast topic and pointing to more specific and in-depth articles about particular subdivisions of the topic. Not sure if this answers your question. Cheers 20:48, 22 August 2006 (PDT)
That was kind of long and confusing, but I think I got it. Thanks. --Señor Eko 20:57, 22 August 2006 (PDT)
Add "brainwashing"?
Edit
Kinds of brainwashing through different means (by the Others seems to be reaccuring. It's happened to Claire (during her first capture by Ethan), Karl (in Room 23), and is speculated to possibly be an element in other situations as well. Just an idea. Hazel 22:39, 17 March 2007 (PDT)
