Many attempts have been made to explain the mysterious events on the island, Hoewever, not all of them are created to be taken seriously.

This category includes humorous material which spoofs or pokes fun at the phenomena of the show. It is most commonly created by fans, but may even come from official or large commercial sources, but regardless should not be considered canon. It generally should be kept separate from more serious fanon and differentiated from hoax, which is fake information created by fans, but which intends to fool others into believing it is part of official canon.
