- How did Naomi get a copy of the photograph and why was she carrying it?
A copy was made of this picture. For some reason, perhaps for save-keeping, the picture ended up in one of Penelope's books. Penny owns the portugese version of Catch-22 because her staff speaks portugese. At some point in time Mr. Widmore selected the same book from the Widmore library, which includes Penny's collection, to give to Naomi Dorrit as a token of his appreciation during a meeting or business diner. The picture was never discovered while the book was still in Naomi's possesion.DarthYotho 23:16, January 17, 2010 (UTC)
Jacob set Desmond down his path
Edit
Desmond got drunk beyond comprehension (as only a scotsman can) and found himself somewhere alone. A man approached him and offered him his hand asking 'can i help you, brother?'. It is assumed that Desmond took the man's hand and was therefore touched by Jacob. After being touched by Jacob (dressed as a monk) his destiny was immediately altered and this set him down the path that brought him to the monastary, Penny, her father Charles and eventually the Island.
