Brown was a police officer who worked at the Los Angeles International Airport. In the Flash sideways world, after Oceanic Flight 815 has landed at the airport, Brown entered the plane with his colleague to escort Charlie Pace to custody, as he was found with a bag of heroin on the plane.

- Beside portraying Brown in "LA X, Part 1", the actor has previously portrayed an airport traveler in "Two for the Road", a prison guard in "Every Man for Himself", and an Other in "Greatest Hits". It is unknown if they and Brown were meant to be the same character.
