Bracken was a DHARMA Initiative crew. He may have been killed along with other members of the DHARMA Initiative in the Purge, or he may have left the island sometime between 1977 and The Purge.
On the Island

Bracken was working on the set of the Arrow orientation film along with Dr. Pierre Chang, Jay, Kyker, Fern, Aaron, and the other crews. Bracken was the cameraman, he filmed the video until Eric came, and interrupted them. ("Because You Left")

- Bracken's name was seen on the clipboard, and his first name maybe appeared on his jumpsuit, but it's too far to identify.
