Bob "BJ" Jones is believed to be a survivor from Oceanic Flight 815.
- A message from him can be found embedded on the Oceanic Website.
- His name has been removed from the Oceanic Website.
- His message could originally be found in the source code of the "Flight Tracker" page .
The message reads as follows:
"I would like to inform my financial institutions that I will be late making my September mortgage payment as I am STRANDED ON A FRIGGIN' ISLAND IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! Please have the Government send a search team immediately. OR don't. Shouldn't all the taxes I pay cover an expense like that?"
His original message read:
"This is Bob Jones, of Tulsa Oklahoma and I would like to inform the First National Bank of Enid that I will be late making my September mortgage payment as I am STRANDED ON A FRIGGIN’ ISLAND IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! Please have the government send a search team immediately or don’t all the taxes I pay cover an expense like that?"
Skepticism and theories
Because the Oceanic website is run by ABC and not the writers, it is uncertain whether a character named BJ is among the survivors on the show.
It remains unknown how Robert, Sally, Jake and BJ were able to hack the Oceanic website and post their messages. Their messages cannot be four from the message bottle in "Exodus: Part 1", because the bottle that contained the messages was washed up onto the beach and came to be in the possession of Sun.
Warning: Default sort key "Jones, Bob "BJ"" overrides earlier default sort key "Jones, Bob".
