Theories

The Black Rock massacre was an event that occurred in 1867 after the slaver ship the Black Rock crashed on the Island killing the captain, Magnus Hanso. The day after the crash, the surviving slaves, including Ignacio, were murdered by Jonas Whitfield while the remaining crew members, including Whitfield, were murdered by the smoke monster. Ricardo was the only survivor. ("Ab Aeterno")
