Arturo was Tom Friendly's lover, seen in his penthouse hotel suite in New York when Michael went there to find Tom. Tom asked Arturo to give them some privacy, and after kissing Tom tenderly on the cheek, Arturo left the room.

Trivia

  • He and Tom are the only known gay characters to appear on the show. Hurley's sister-in-law Lisa was presumably bisexual.
  • Arturo is the fourth character of presumably Italian origin to appear on Lost, after Angelo Busoni, Gabriela Busoni and Peter Avellino.
  • His name may refer to Italian quick-change artist Arturo Brachetti, who is known to be gay.
