Allen DiGioia worked as a first assistant director for Lost. He assisted on the season one episode "White Rabbit".

DiGioia began working in 1983 for the show Magnum, P.I., for which he worked as a second assistant director. After serving for ten episodes, Digioia moved on to work on the show Murder, She Wrote for five years, from 1984 to 1989. During the time spent working on the show, he served as a second assistant director, first assistant director, and assistant director. He then moved on to work on shows such as L.A. Law, Picket Fences, and The Practice throughout the 1990's. From 1997 - 2002, DiGioia worked as a first assistant director on Ally McBeal, and from 2002 - 2003 he worked on CSI: Miami. DiGioia worked on several episodes of Ugly Betty from 2006 to 2007.
