Some time ago, I remarked that there seems to be a recurring theme about shoes on Lost. In the first episode, Jack, running through the jungle, passes by a pair of white sneakers suspended from a tree, how they got there is unknown. When Jack first enters the hatch, he looks down to see a pair of running shoes on the floor. When Arracha first approaches Jack in 'Stranger in a Strange Land', the camera dwells on her putting her shoes down on the blanket. Sawyer notes that Paolo's shoes are hanging from a tree when they discover his paralyzed body. When Charlie dives down to the Looking-Glass station, he loses a shoe, on which the camera focuses. In each case, these shoes add nothing apparent to the story, but they represent a recurring motif. Maybe it ties in with Jack's putting Christian's shoes on the feet of Locke's corpse, the 4-toed statue, and the barefoot others. It could be meaningful or just a red herring tossed out by the writers. Wait and see.

	Hi there. I've noticed your comment on my blog about preventing spoilers on the Lostpedia blogs. I have a nice idea to notify new users of the Lostpedia spoiler policy and I hope that I can have permission to do this...My plan is to make a minor edit on active nwere users' pages, welcoming them to Lostpedia and to ask them to look over the spoiler policy (I will add the link) and to not post spoilers in the community blogs section. I would also add a link to the spoilers discussion page on Lostpedia if they choose to discuss spoilers. I want to do this to prevent users from inadvertantly reading spoilers and ruining the show for those who have read them. If I go this route, will I become banned for harrassment or other offenses? I want to help do the right thing, but I don't want to become banned for it. The edits I plan to make to users pages will not be offensive and I will keeep them short and polite. That being said, I like the Dharma people better than the Others overall.

I could be wrong (of course), but my impression from watching "The Incident" was that when Ilana said "someone else has been using it" (the cabin) was:

* It was originally or previously meant (and/or built) for Jacob's purposes (though that does not explain Horace's connection to either Jacob or his Nemesis).

* The "someone else" implied the Nemesis specifically, especially because the big focus and reveal of this episode and the end of Season 5 was the fact the Nemesis was also on the Island, and had been executing a plot he referred to as "The Loophole." It just kind of makes sense that since "The Incident" was revealing his presence to the audience, this was Darlton's way of letting us know that during the course of Seasons 3-5, all cabin activity has been due to the Nemesis.

* Christian Shepard, as we see him on the Island, is either working with/for the Nemesis, or in fact is the Nemesis himself. It was Christian that told Locke HE had to move the Island and that he was going to have to die, etc., which specifically led to his 'return' to the Island and the Nemesis' ability to use his image/body along with Ben to kill Jacob and thus completing The Loophole.

* And because of my last bullet, I believe it is implied that the reason "bodies must be buried" (or burned) is because if they are left unburied on the Island (i.e. - Christian, Alex, Yemi), they are susceptible to being controlled/re-animated/used by Nemesis.

Again, I could be wrong on any or all of this, but as of right now I am certain at this point that this what has been going on.

Why is another story. :)

I think that there was a kind of soul in there. Coz when Locke dead he went out as a Locke. We called him Flocke. I wrote a theory a couple of weeks ago. According to that the thing inside the cabin was Real Locke. His second body on the island. Losties went to past by time travel. They explored the temple. Locke did something stupid and the Losties put him in there as a punishment. Now he is out free. Probably he will wanna take his revange. That's the coming war...
